This weekend, (god is it December already) December 7th -10th is the ONE of a KIND Show at the Merchandise Mart here in Chicago. Thursday is the sneak peak/preview party. I have lots of new work on display for all your Christmas needs.
The bad news is, that this is the same weekend as Second Friday. So Jill is running the show at Lanza Studio God help us all! I'll only have a very small number of pieces at the Second Friday. So for all you die hard fans that are interested in my work, (are there any out there that actually read these) all of the good stuff is at the One of a Kind show.
This is the first time that I'm doing this show so I'll have to see how it goes. So far so good. Set up was great, pulled my car up to the loading dock and the union labor tossed everything on a flat bed cart and wheeled it to my booth while I payed $10 an hour at one of Chicago's finest parking lots. But really, the show looks pretty good and there are Tons of artists there! So put on that "I love Gabe Lanza" t-shirt with the deep yellow pit stains and Beer caddy helmet cap, then come to the show and say hi.
