Good times in Kansas City. Had a really good time hanging out with everyone. My friend Christian helped me with the show all weekend and made sure that we had plenty of refreshments to wet our wistle. I took home an award which is exciting cause its my first one from the Plaza Art Fair. A nice way to end the season.
So Kansas City marks the end of the art fair season for me. No setting up the tent until March for the Florida Shows, and boy am I glad I have the break. I'm ready for a long winter of video games, Netflix, and trying to figure out when was the last time I showered. This doesn't mean that I don't have anything to do, cause I'm still busy...just not busy busy.
So October is Chicago Artist Month and I will be participating in three events. Its pretty exciting. First is the East Pilsen Open House, then The Needle and Nostalgic Show at the Beverly Arts Center, and the Scene in Chicago at the Judy Saslow Gallery. I will be posting more detailed info on each opening as we get closer to the dates.
The East Pilsen Open House is this weekend and is the best time of the year to visit the area. Over 100 art studios including Jill's and I, will open the doors and allow the public to walk right in. It is a great deal of fun and I can't tell you enough that if you're in the area, you need to stop by.
