So after years of never buying a computer myself, I decided to go for gold and purchase a new iMac 20". Boy oh boy is this computer sweet. With the build in iSight, I can show everyone how hard I work while in front of the computer. Look how tired I look after sleeping in till 10:30 in the morning. So hard being an artist!
Of coarse, this week is Thanksgiving. The greatest holiday in the world. Why? Cause you do nothing but eat!! and then when you're done eating....you eat some more...then, you eat just a bit more...and finally, you have dessert. You don't have to spend a month looking for gifts, or making cards, you just show up and eat and drink. I love it. This year is extra special. Now that Jill and I are married we officially have two Thanksgivings! Yum! So Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Ok, I should mention some kinda art update. I have been a little slow for the last two months. I'm pretty much working on a whole new group of paintings, thirteen in all. Sketches are pictured above. They'll be shown at the ONE of a KIND SHOW in early December at the Merchandise Mart. This is going to be a new thing for me, cause I've never done an indoor show with provided walls. I'm kinda excited, could be really cool.
