After three years of participating in the Chicago Arts District's 2nd Fridays gallery walk, Jill and I are closing our doors. We just are getting too busy in our lives to take that week off from our art, to clean up and put on a show, and then set our studios up again. Jill and I miss having messy studios. To be honest, its getting hard to go from a work studio (below image) to a clean gallery (left image). So your last chance to visit my home,eat my food, and drink my booze is at the East Pilsen Open House from Sept 28-30th. Of course, you can always call in advance and schedule an appointment to stop by and see our new works.
Does this mean the end of seeing Gabe's work on
2nd Fridays? No it does not! Cause I will be joining forces with fellow Pilsen artist Marco Logsdon. Marco, myself, and several other artists are starting a CO-OP gallery at Logsdon 1909 Gallery. More info about that will come soon.
